All systems are GO for the start of next weekend’s JoeCon 2015 being held in Springfield, Illinois (April 9-12). If you were unable to attend last month’s big Joelanta show in the “Deep South” of Atlanta, Georgia, you’ll want to begin packing your bags for a trip to JoeCon 2015 in America’s (currently soggy) “Corn-Belt.” Yes, the club’s business-driven JoeCons are markedly different from the more fan-driven Joelanta gatherings, but the attraction and reasons for attending both has always the same—GIjOEs and friendship!
Bottom Line: Even though JoeCons have evolved into gatherings primarily geared to collectors of the ’80s-’90s “little Joes,” great fun can still be had at these events by 12-inch fans as well. The club hasn’t completely turned its back on 1:6 scalers (yet) and is offering up another intriguing exclusive for this year’s attendees (shown at right). Rest assured, for good, bad, or otherwise, we’ll be there to cover all the action and provide readers of The Joe Report with full intel upon our return. Go, JOE!
