Bottom Line: They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, if that’s the case, we should probably just shut-up and let this latest pic from the GIjOE Collector’s Club do all the talking. And if you’re still on the fence about purchasing this expensive exclusive, maybe the club’s final press release on the subject will convince you one way or the other. It reads as follows:

    Now, if he came with one of PoP’s 50th Anniversay Tees, it might be worth the asking price. Other than that, the only piece I’ll be interested in is the all-black outfit and ‘chute.

    All I can say is …that’s it ??? Without a doubt, the lamest set the club has put out for a Con. I’ve bought everything they’ve put out in the 12-inch line, many in multiples. I think others are right, this looks like they lumped together what they were going to sell in the club store during the year, and called it a Con set. Very Disappointed. Very overpriced. Not even one additional figure for display? For the money of a Con set, we should get a Marine Jungle Fighter or the holy grail, the Action Joe State Trooper.
