The Joe Report’s 2013 “Year In Review”———’n PRIZES!

Cap wonders if delaying the new GIjOE film just to convert it to 3D is a wise decision by Paramount, or as some fans have called it, a "bonehead" move? (Photo: Mark Otnes)

Thank You and Happy New Year! Just a quick note to wish all the faithful readers and fans of The Joe Report a great big “THANKS!” for all of your support and help during 2013. Wow! Love the Christmas photos. Brings back memories. Maybe you should send them to Hasbro to stir them up to make something for the 50th.

    • Great idea, Scott. The execs and “suits” at Hasbro don’t seem to remember GIjOE or what made him so special and dear to so many.

Yes I know . I was surprised to see the Timeless Pilot recently . I didn’t know they even existed .
Don’t know who they have in marketing but they could do the same thing they have licensed online to do with Action Man . Just make the sets like they were before starting with the rare stuff Nurse , Auaqnaut etc.
Don’t waste money paying someone to design a new box etc. just remake what you already have . That is what we want .
Have you seen the Action Man series remakes ?

Why is it DID makes a lot of nice repros for Action Man and not for American Joe ?

Wow, I guess I had a lot of time on my hands. KneonKnight reporting as ordered, sir. 64 comments, that’s about 5 per month. I’m sure most of those were posted as replies to Wayne, our resident customizing master, or to gripe about what I considered to be Hasbro’s blunders regarding the 12 inch line. I’ll definitely be back in ’14, as I just got settled in my new digs. See you on the front page, folks.
